SkyCity is delivering world-class airports through the redevelopments of the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport (HERA) in St. Croix and the Cyril E. King Airport (CEKA) in St. Thomas by combining global expertise with local partnerships.
A purpose-built Public-Private Partnership (P3) has been designed to foster collaboration between the Virgin Islands Port Authority, SkyCity, and project stakeholders at all stages of the redevelopments that reflect the unique USVI culture and heritage. The redevelopment will ensure resiliency, sustainability, safe operations, modernization and enhanced passenger experience while maximizing local economic, social and community benefits.
About the Project
Combining global expertise with local partnerships, SkyCity will deliver critical facility upgrades and long overdue redevelopments of these two critical gateways. These upgrades will improve service levels and capacity, modernize amenities and passenger experience, and enhance the resiliency and sustainability of the airports while stimulating economic growth and providing travelers with a safe, comfortable, and pleasant experience.
